C & M was founded in Monrovia, Liberia in 1985. After the Civil War when everything was lost C & M opened its first international operation in the U.S. in September 1991. The C & M Group of Companies are primarily sales and marketing companies catering to the needs of the diplomatic community worldwide, specializing in consumer products such as perfumes, cosmetics, liquor, cigarettes, jewelry and other duty-free items.

C & M has a network of expert and well-organized distribution of sales force under the guidance and contact with Bharat Manghnani. They effectively form a team highly qualified to provide customers with excellent service and satisfaction.

A constant flow of information to the principals avoids major pitfalls and the market is catered with the correct required product and quantity. Our set up of three sales personnel and three representatives (Free Lance) has developed a feeling of trust and reliable service which is the essential result of the efforts required for commercial success.

Mr. Bharat Manghnani


Bharat has over 40 years of management experience in the consumer products arena and owned and operated an import/export business. Most recently he was the Managing Director of his own import/export firm supplying duty free products to the diplomatic corps. In 1989, he was appointed Diplomat of Liberia and served in that role until the beginning of the Liberian civil war in 1991. Bharat’s areas of expertise include contract negotiations, business plan development, strategic planning, marketing and sales, international trade, and wholesale operations.
